Becoming an effective leader is a journey, and not always a straightforward one.  The tracks may be defined, but bumpy. The light at the end of the tunnel isn't always what we expect.  That's why impactful, trustworthy advice is valuable.  It stabilizes the path, and clarifies choices.

Should you or your team continue in this direction on these tracks?  Are you moving at the right speed? Or does the context require you to move faster (or slower)?  Are your signals working?  Does everyone interpret them in the same way?

The answers are not simple, and good leadership often requires slowing the motion, understanding the full landscape and, with help, designing a robust, thoughtful path forward.
